The Path Beckons

A mixed-media textile work that invites the viewer to follow a winding garden path surrounded by an abundance of colorful flowers and lush greenery. Brilliant sunflowers, soft pink and white blossoms, and vibrant red flowers rendered in silk ribbon create dimensional layers of color and texture along the pathway. Rich green foliage and layered textile elements frame the scene, while the gently curving path draws the eye toward the distant landscape, creating a sense of depth, discovery, and the anticipation of what might lie beyond. Subtle touches of paint and mixed-media detail enrich the flowers, foliage, pathway, and softly atmospheric sky with depth and tonal variation, resulting in a piece that feels joyful, inviting, and alive with the beauty of wandering through a flourishing garden.
