Sold – Butterfly Kisses

A mixed-media textile work that celebrates the warmth and joyful beauty of sunflowers in bloom. Brilliant golden sunflowers rendered in silk ribbon rise dimensionally from a softly painted fabric background, their richly textured centers creating a striking contrast against the luminous yellow petals. Layered green leaves and stems weave through the composition, adding depth and movement while allowing each flower to emerge with its own character. Three delicate monarch butterflies painted on silk rest and flutter among the blossoms, bringing an additional sense of movement and life to the garden. Subtle touches of paint and mixed-media detail enrich the flowers, foliage, and atmospheric background with depth and tonal variation, resulting in a piece that feels warm, uplifting, and alive with the color and energy of a summer garden.
