Whispers of Autumn

A mixed-media textile work that celebrates the rich color and quiet beauty of autumn, where a majestic tree covered in brilliant golden leaves stands beside a peaceful body of water. The richly textured trunk and individually layered leaves create a strong dimensional focal point, while scattered leaves at the base of the tree suggest the gentle progression of the season. Beyond the tree, softly rendered water and distant hills create a sense of depth and tranquility beneath an atmospheric blue sky. Subtle touches of paint, fiber, and mixed-media detail enrich the tree, shoreline, water, and surrounding landscape with texture and tonal variation, resulting in a piece that feels peaceful, reflective, and alive with the warmth and beauty of autumn.
