Rhapsody in Bloom

A mixed-media textile work that celebrates the joyful beauty and colorful abundance of a flourishing summer garden. An array of vibrant flowers rendered in silk ribbon rises in dimensional layers from a softly painted fabric background, creating a lively tapestry of color and texture. Brilliant reds, oranges, yellows, pinks, and purples mingle among lush green foliage, while tall, graceful blossoms reach toward the soft blue sky. Clusters of smaller flowers weave through the foreground, adding depth and intricate detail to the composition. Delicate butterflies flutter among the blooms, bringing a sense of movement and life to the garden. Subtle touches of paint and mixed-media detail enrich the flowers, foliage, and surrounding landscape with depth and tonal variation, resulting in a piece that feels cheerful, inviting, and alive with the beauty and gentle rhythm of a garden in full bloom.
