Quiet Wonder

A mixed-media textile work that captures the peaceful beauty and quiet elegance of a water lily pond, where delicate blossoms rise among clusters of lily pads floating across tranquil blue-green water. Soft ivory and pale yellow water lilies rendered in silk ribbon create dimensional focal points, their delicate petals contrasting beautifully with the rich greens and muted blues of the surrounding pond. Lily pads in varying shades of green are thoughtfully arranged throughout the composition, creating a gentle rhythm and a sense of depth as the eye wanders across the water's surface. Subtle touches of paint and mixed-media detail enrich the lily pads, blossoms, and softly textured water with depth and tonal variation, capturing the delicate interplay of light, color, and reflection. The result is a piece that feels serene, contemplative, and alive with the timeless beauty and tranquility of nature.
