Ana –
Ana Sumner’s book, Uniquely Threaded, gave me a precious peek inside her creative process. Her stories explain the birth of the ideas that are the foundation of her art, and her poetry lets me see the world through her imagination. Unlike a lot of poetry that seems intentionally vague and hard for me to connect with, Ana’s poetry helps me feel in my own heart what I imagine she’s feeling in hers. It’s just not that often that one person can combine an artistic expression of words with the beauty of color and light in a way that reaches my soul.
