Loggerhead Sea Turtle

Description

Hand embroidered and painted sea turtle using embroidery threads and acrylic paints.  Reef is hand stitched embellished using painted silk ribbon, specialty threads, lace, and various beads to represent coral.   Background fabric and cheesecloth is hand painted using acrylic paints, and oil pastels.  3D hand painted fabric fish with acrylics and stabilized with a molding stabilizer.  Each reef has its own character and charm.
