Bursting into Bloom

Description

Sewing Machine thread drawn trees, and hand stitch blossoms on branches with silk ribbon and embroidery floss. The grass is felted with cheesecloth and wool, and then machine stitch with a meandering quilting stitch. The lake is painted with watercolors and oil pastels, and handstitched with embroidery floss.  The background fabric is painted with acrylic paints, oil pastels and watercolors.
