In September I had the opportunity to participate in the Edwardsville Art Festival. I am thankful to have seen so many of you come by and say hello, and enjoy the art. Once again, this year I received a Merit Award for my artistic talents. Gratitude fills my heart at the acknowledgement of my hard work.

Artful Landscape Class at Jackman’s in O’fallon Illinois

Artful Landscape Class at Jackman’s in St. Louis MO
This month I have had the privilege of teaching at Jackman’s Fabrics both in O’fallon, Illinois, and in St Louis, Missouri. It is always fun to introduce a new class to the area. My landscape quilt class is an exploration of creativity, fibers and techniques that allow the student to have fun. My students definitely had a wonderful time in the class, and excelled at being creative!
Lastly, I had the opportunity to teach at the Craft Alliance at Delmar Loop a silk ribbon wildflower garden class. It was a class of three students, and we met one day a week for three weeks. Unfortunately one of the students was ill, and couldn’t finish the class, but the other two enjoyed learning this wonderful art, and had a great time creating their own unique versions of wildflowers.
Thank you all who participated for allowing your creativity to soar!
