I enjoy taking pictures and then manipulating the photo in the computer. Then I use my sewing machine to thread draw aspects of the picture. I quilted the back ground sky and used acrylic paint to texture the threads. I then hand-stitch the foliage...
Gathering of the Pumpkins
I took a picture of pumpkins in a farm house in Pennsylvania last fall on a road trip. It is wonderful to come across this treasures on trips. They make for fun art!

2016 gets off to an exciting start!
So far 2016 has been an exciting new year.
It began with “Nature’s Orchestra” (above) winning first prize in the Cary Art Center’s Instructor’s Exhibit: “Synesthesia – Connecting the Senses.”
