Meander

A mixed-media textile work that invites the viewer to wander along a garden path surrounded by an abundance of colorful wildflowers rendered in silk ribbon and embroidery. Vibrant reds, oranges, yellows, purples, blues, and whites rise among rich green foliage, creating a lively tapestry of color and texture beneath a softly painted blue sky. The stone pathway gently leads the eye through the composition toward the distant garden, creating a sense of depth, discovery, and quiet exploration. A delicate butterfly hovering above the flowers adds a touch of movement and life to the scene. Subtle touches of paint and mixed-media detail enrich the flowers, foliage, pathway, and surrounding landscape with depth and tonal variation, resulting in a piece that feels joyful, inviting, and alive with the beauty of a garden waiting to be explored.
