Snow Day is a mixed-media textile work that explores a quiet, contemplative winter mood, depicting bare, branching trees rising from a softly textured snowfield with a small, hand-stitched dog nestled beneath them, rendered primarily through thread painting and embroidery, set against a serene sky and ground painted on fabric with acrylic medium, resulting in a piece that feels hushed, tender, and gently evocative of stillness and companionship.
